About the ROQHAS

SUPPORTING MEN VICTIMS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE
Founded in 2020, the Regroupement des organismes québécois pour les hommes agressés sexuellement (ROQHAS)’s mission is to bring together non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting men who have experienced sexual violence in Quebec, as well as all professional concerned by this reality. Through our action, we aim to promote the financing, improvement and development of services specifically adapted to the needs and realities of men who have experienced sexual violence. Through our commitment and resources, we work tirelessly to break taboos, eliminate stigma and provide essential support to those people.

Our role is to mobilize decision-makers and the general public around the realities of men who have experienced sexual violence. Providing information to raise awareness and deepen knowledge on the issue is therefore part of our daily mandates. These documents resulting from collective work are used by our entire community to adapt or develop new services, help with decision-making, and support reflections.
