Le Regroupement des organismes québécois pour les hommes agressés sexuellement (ROQHAS) offers introductory training on the population of men who have experienced sexual violence and reflexions on intervention with these men.

Provide to professionals working with men users an introduction to the population of men who have experienced sexual violence and reflexions on intervention with these men.
This training is aimed at various professionals who work with men and who have little knowledge about men who have experienced sexual violence.
A group of around ten people must be formed in order to receive this training. For single people, it may be considered to schedule training dates open to all.

He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in criminology from Laval University. He did his master’s studies in criminology to deepen his knowledge of gender, including masculinities, and victimization. His dissertation project focused on the reality of men who experienced sexual violence as adults and the issues of disclosure, masculinity and victimization.
Alongside his master’s studies, he worked as a psychosocial worker for more than 3 years at CRIPHASE, improving his experience of intervention with men victims of childhood sexual abuse.
Since April 2023, he has been director of the Regroupement des organismes québécois pour les hommes agressés sexuellement. Still learning, this position allows him to continue learning about research, services and practices offered to men who have experienced sexual violence.
His dedicated commitment to this population in recent years has allowed him to quickly develop expertise on the reality of men who have experienced sexual violence.
