The ROQHAS announces the hiring of Samuel Dussault as the organization’s director. The board of directors is proud of this hiring, which represents a significant step in the organization’s development.
Samuel Dussault holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in criminology from Laval University, where he focused his research on men who had lived sexual violence as adults. With his in-depth knowledge of this issue, he worked as a counselor for 5 years, including more than 3 years at CRIPHASE. His expertise, passion and commitment to this cause will be an asset in effectively guiding the organization through the next steps.
His role as director will be to ensure the organization’s management and continued development. Among his main responsibilities, Samuel will have to work to expand the organization’s membership, represent the organization’s interests within social and political institutions and develop an awareness training offer on sexually assaulted men. In addition, he will also be responsible for continuing efforts in terms of fundraising, essential to achieve the organization’s financial autonomy.
The ROQHAS is now in a better position to develop the potential it contains in order to improve services for sexually assaulted men in Quebec.
